2025 IWD Project Highlight:- Empowering Educators: Computer Literacy Training for Teachers in Bolga-Sherigu
Women Changemakers for Education supported Loozeele Initiative to deliver a computer literacy training for 35 teachers from 12 schools in Bolga-Sherigu, Ghana. 2025 IWD Project Highlight: Accelerating Action in Technical Skills and Education for Empowerment
Women Changemakers for Education supported YouthFusion Hub and Well Skills Development Hub in a dual-impact project providing welding training and equipment to Nyakrom SHTS and essential learning materials to Kparisaga School, reaching over 60 students and teachers. The initiative empowered girls in technical education, improved classroom conditions, and reignited motivation in underserved schools across Ghana.

2025 IWD Project Highlight: Capacity Building Training on Shea Butter Production for Economic Independence
Women Changemakers for Education supported Porducare Enterprise in a three-day shea butter production training in Gindabor, empowering over 60 women with hands-on skills in processing, packaging, and cooperative business development. The initiative promoted economic independence and gender equity by turning a traditional craft into a sustainable livelihood opportunity.

2025 IWD Project Highlight: Empowering Women Through Digital Skills – Accelerating Action for IWD 2025
Women Changemakers for Education sponsored the Academic Success Foundation in partnership with CAMFED Association to train 30 young women in Accra in website creation and basic coding. The workshop empowered participants to digitize their businesses, build confidence in STEM, and commit to sharing their new skills with others.

2025 IWD Project Highlight: Empowering Young Minds
To celebrate International Women’s Day 2025, Women Changemakers for Education supported Buoyant Youth Foundation (Agnes Etuah) and Learn To Read Foundation (Rejoice Adzivor) to empower students at Tomefa Kofe M/A Basic School through mentorship, leadership sessions, and the donation of essential school supplies. The project boosted students’ confidence, academic motivation, and love for reading, especially among girls.

2025 IWD Project Highlight: Empowering Girls to Accelerate Action: A Book and Movie Session on “Kaya Girl”
To celebrate International Women’s Day 2025, Women Changemakers for Education supported Ama Frimpomaa Oware in delivering a powerful book and movie session in Beposo, Ghana, using Kaya Girl to empower 20 girls aged 10–16 through storytelling, creativity, and mentorship. The event fostered confidence, literacy, and leadership aspirations, aligning with the theme #AcceleratingAction for gender equality.
