Empowering Educational Leadership: Journey with Lead For Ghana
My journey into education leadership is driven by a deep commitment to improving educational outcomes and empowering others to lead impactful change. As a Senior Associate in the Leadership Growth department at Lead For Ghana, I am dedicated to supporting Fellows as they implement transformative initiatives in schools and communities.
The Impact of WC4E
My experience as a Women Changemakers for Education (WC4E) Fellow played a crucial role in shaping my career. Through its excellent curriculum focused on project management and implementation, I gained practical skills that I now apply in my role—helping Fellows design and execute impactful projects. Beyond skill-building, WC4E provided me with an irreplaceable network of Changemakers. The connections I formed with co-fellows continue serve as a source of mutual support and inspiration, reinforcing the importance of collaboration and shared growth in the education sector.
Journey Milestones
My journey has been marked by significant milestones, including:
Earning my master’s degree, which deepened my expertise in education leadership
Transitioning into a direct role in education, where I actively contribute to shaping learning experiences and school leadership.
Building meaningful relationships with educators and school leaders across regions, fostering a network of learning and support.
While I remain committed to my long-term goal of establishing my own organization, I see my current role as a crucial phase of preparation—equipping me with the skills, knowledge, and network needed to bring that vision to life.
Future Aspirations
Looking ahead, I aspire to pursue a PhD to deepen my expertise in education and policy. Additionally, I aim to establish my own foundation, creating sustainable solutions that expand access to quality education and leadership development.
