Susan Adu-Aryee
With over 20 years of experience in international development, Susan has worked with World Education, Inc. In Ghana and the International Federation for the Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. She earned her MBA from the University of Leicester and currently directs the STAGE project in Ghana, with funding UKAID, targeting education for over 20,000 marginalized girls in the northern and southern regions of Ghana.

Tawiah Agyarko-Kwarteng
With 16 years of experience in the non-profit and private sector, Tawiah is dedicated to building the capacities of disadvantaged populations through innovation and partnership. She has led development programs for World Education, Inc., and The Hershey Company, in girls' and adult education, community development, and cocoa sustainability. She also manages a sustainable development consulting firm, Heritage Flow2 Company Ltd, in Ghana. Tawiah has an MPA in International Development from the Harvard Kennedy School. She spent two years as the Ghana Country Advisor for Women Changemakers for Education and was instrumental in the development of the program.

Winthrop Carty
Through 30 years in international education and social innovation, Winthrop has helped underrepresented ethical leaders and social entrepreneurs secure seats at the world's decision making tables. He is the founder of All Together Strategies which supports collaborative leadership to solve global challenges. Previously he served as executive director of the Melton Foundation and was co-founder and former senior editor of Innovations journal (MIT Press).

Rana Dajani
Dr. Rana Dajani is a Jordanian professor of molecular biology who is ‘interested in raising the health, education and social status of women and children around the world.’ She is an accomplished researcher, teacher and role model, and one of the Top 100 Most Influential Arab Women. Based on the evidence that reading plays an essential role in instilling a love of learning and in creating a brighter future for children and their societies, she established We Love Reading, which is now in over 52 countries, with 7,503 volunteers, and nearly half a million readers.

Heather Spilsbury
Heather Spilsbury is a dynamic Chief Operating and Marketing Officer with over 20 years of experience in marketing, operations, digital advertising, and e-commerce. She leads 50/50 Women on Boards, driving its digital transformation, rebranding, and strategic growth to advance diversity in corporate leadership. Previously, as VP of Marketing and Strategy at a Los Angeles creative agency, she established its marketing division and expanded its impact. An active board member and lifelong learner, Heather holds a degree in Business Management and Economics from Seattle University and multiple industry certifications.

James Weiss
James is a former investment advisor, financial life coach, and co-founder of Weiss and Hale Financial with a B.A. in Political Science from Saint Lawrence University. He has advised many non-profits and for-profits in their long term development strategies. He currently works as a Chocolatier, having studied at Ecole Chocolat and Valrona. James is the Co-Founder of Pomfret Chocolates.

Rose Dodd
Rose is the Founder and Director of Kaya Childcare, a registered education organization that provides early childhood development for the children of Kayayoo. She is also the Program Manager for the Education Collaborative, Ashesi’s initiative to develop institutions’ capacities to train ethical, entrepreneurial leaders across the African continent. Having been a Fellow in Women Changemakers for Education's very first cohort, Rose knows the program inside and out and is well-equipped to guide and support the incoming Fellows.

Ariel Derby
Ariel has worked with WC4E in several roles since its founding, assisting with marketing, social media, fundraising, storytelling, and strategy. Ariel graduated from Tufts University in May 2023 with a B.A. in Sociology and Civic Studies, and currently works as Development Associate for the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs. Passionate about social justice and the power of storytelling to spark change, Ariel hopes to continue serving marginalized communities by working in the nonprofit space.

Naana Adofo
Naana joined WC4E in 2024 and has made great strides in enriching our online presence. She has rich experience from both her undergraduate and graduate-level research and engagements. Naana is passionate about social issues, particularly gender equality and equity issues, and one day looks forward to advancing her cause. She has worked as a Policy and Research Consultant providing expert advice and analysis on using policy to ensure equitable distribution of resources.
