IWD Project Highlight:- Educating and Empowering through Entrepreneurship
To celebrate IWD 2025, WC4E Alumna Ophelia Opoku donated sewing machines and accessories to Ayim D/A Basic School to support hands-on learning in Career Technology. The initiative empowered over 100 students with practical skills in sewing, sparking interest in entrepreneurship and vocational training.

2025 IWD Project Highlight:- Her Impact Accelerator Initiative
The Her Impact Accelerator Initiative, led by Mbasiafo Tribe (founded by Angelina Annobil) and supported by Women Changemakers for Education, empowered two young women with mentorship and mini-grants to launch impactful community projects in Ghana. Through STEM education and youth mentorship, the initiative reached 41 students (31 of them girls) and laid the foundation for scaling women-led grassroots change.

2025 IWD Project Highlight:- Breaking the Silence: Empowering Women and Communities to End Domestic Violence
To mark International Women’s Day 2025, Create Impact Foundation (founded by Kibtiya Faruk) with support from Women Changemakers for Education, organized a community education event in Zoolanyili, Ghana, engaging men, women, and local leaders in open dialogue about domestic violence and legal rights. The initiative empowered participants to speak out, seek support, and commit to ending the cycle of silence and abuse.

Women Changemakers for Education supported Loozeele Initiative to deliver a computer literacy training for 35 teachers from 12 schools in Bolga-Sherigu, Ghana. The training empowered educators, especially women, with essential digital skills, directly impacting classrooms and benefiting over 8,000 students..

Women Changemakers for Education supported YouthFusion Hub and Well Skills Development Hub in a dual-impact project providing welding training and equipment to Nyakrom SHTS and essential learning materials to Kparisaga School, reaching over 60 students and teachers. The initiative empowered girls in technical education, improved classroom conditions, and reignited motivation in underserved schools across Ghana.

The initiative promoted economic independence and gender equity by turning a traditional craft into a sustainable livelihood opportunity.

The project boosted students’ confidence, academic motivation, and love for reading, especially among girls.
