“I Almost Didn’t Apply”
Before the Fellowship, Patience was already passionate about social impact, but as she puts it, “my initiative had no structure. It was all over the place.”
Since joining the Women Changemakers for Education Fellowship, Patience has registered her initiative, YouthFusion Hub, recruited board members and developed an e-learning platform to equip young people with practical technical, vocational and digital skills.
Beyond the growth of her work, Patience says she cherished the opportunity to meet and learn from influential women she might never have met otherwise.
Today, she leaves the Fellowship with new possibilities, meaningful relationships, lessons and a network of amazing women.
Reflecting on her journey, Patience says:
“I almost didn't apply two years ago, but today, I am so glad I did.”
