Patience Antwi

Patience Antwi is an ardent women empowerment enthusiast. Coming from an impoverished background, Patience believes every child has a right to quality education irrespective of their backgrounds.  Inspired by her zeal for education, Patience founded YouthFusion Hub.

 

The YouthFusion Hub focuses on training young people, especially girls in website development, foreign languages and robotics. Focusing on technical skills acquisition and quality education as a whole, Patience has mentored over 1000 girls in the Agona East District. She aspires to train more girls in information literacy.

 

Patience holds a Bachelor’s Degree in French and German Education from the University of Education, Winneba majoring in French Language Education. As a trained educationist, she has experience in teaching languages in senior high schools. Patience also has volunteering experience with organizations such as Campaign for Female Education (CAMFED) and Mastercard Foundation. As a professional educationist, Patience aspires to aid the youth to acquire hands-on technological skills that will prepare them for the job market. Through the support from Women Changemakers for Education, she seeks to expand her reach by empowering at least 2,000 more young people, especially girls in information literacy, setting them up for the corporate world.
