Kezia Sanie

Kezia Asiedua Sanie is a lawyer, passionate advocate, and social entrepreneur committed to empowering underprivileged children and communities. She had her basic education at the God’s Grace International School and gained admission to the Wesley Girls’ High School in Cape Coast afterwards. From there, she obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Ghana, Legon, in 2022. Kezia was called to the Ghanaian bar in October 2024 which qualifies her to practise as a lawyer in Ghana.

As the Founder and President of For The Future Ghana (FTF Ghana), Kezia has spent the past eight years leading impactful initiatives focused on education, climate action, gender equality, and community development. Through her work with FTF Ghana, she actively contributes to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 1 (No Poverty), SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals). With a background in law and extensive community engagement, Kezia’s work extends beyond her organization. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Duke of Edinburgh International Award - Ghana (Head of State Award Scheme), where she plays a pivotal role in fostering youth development. Kezia has also represented young leaders at global platforms, including the World Bank Youth Summit and the Chegg.org Global Student Prize community, which recognize her as a changemaker and rising leader.

Kezia’s unwavering commitment to human rights, social impact, and youth empowerment drives her goal to become an international human rights lawyer. As she embarks on her legal career, she seeks to build strategic partnerships and continue expanding her impact through policy advocacy, mentorship, and sustainable development projects.
