Clemencia Laadi

Clemencia Laadi Atengkpieng is a proactive, self motivated young lady committed to contributing to community development and inspiring positive transformation. Thus, a passionate volunteer, an Early Childhood Care and Education practitioner, and an advocate. Clemencia Majored in in Early Childhood Care and Education from the University for Development Studies. She is a MasterCard Foundation at CAMFED scholar, a YALI alumna and a Teach4SDGs fellow and ambassador. 

 

Currently Clemencia serves as a Mastercard Foundation associate at Loozeele Excellence Academy in the Upper East Region of Ghana - Bolgatanga, where our mission is  to revolutionize education in rural underserved communities through innovative strategies. Prior to this, Clemencia volunteered with Aid for Socio Economic and Rural Development ( ASERD- Ghana) as a Gender and Child Development  officer upon completion of her mandatory national service with St Gabriel's R/C Primary where she founded the STEM Club.

 

One of her key accomplishments is managing and coordinating the activities of the STEM Club which allows learners explore concepts which would have otherwise been perceive as difficult and irrelevant when taught in abstract, in a hands-on approach with the use of the 'Science Set’

Clemencia's interest lies in advocating for girl child empowerment, contributing to shaping child and educational policies, while fostering leadership development.
